Supporting Spiritual Growth
The MENA Collective supports projects that share the Gospel, engage non-Christian communities, and disciple new believers. Throughout the Middle East North Africa , people are seeking answers to some of life’s most difficult questions. With more than 50 percent of the MENA population comprising millennials, many are asking questions, seeking truth and meaning. We resource innovative ministries who are providing discipleship and ministry engagements.
Equipping Christian Communities
Historical prejudices, fear, and government ID policies make it very difficult for new believers to join existing historical churches in the region. We equip and support local Christian leaders, schools, churches (both physical and virtual), and new communities that are ministering to the rapidly growing Muslim background believers who are emerging across the Greater Middle East.
Providing Refugee Relief
We partner with organizations who are providing life-saving medical, housing, food, and educational aid to families seeking refuge from war and terrorism, regardless of their religion, ethnicity, background, or national origin. Projects provide education for displaced children who otherwise may not have access to education, grief and trauma counseling for survivors, and job training to aid in resettlement and rebuilding.
Defending Human Rights
Despite more than a decade of concentrated advocacy work in the Greater Middle East, religious freedom has declined in almost every MENA country. Strict blasphemy laws punishable by death await many who wish to change their religion. Women’s rights and equality are an ongoing challenge in most of the region. We are funding innovative, proactive approaches to tackle these issues.
